In 1922, Howard carter who was and archaeologist and Lord Canarvon who sponsored him made a very important discovery which would thrill the world and change it, this was the discovery of king Tutankhamen's tomb. Tourists and reporters flooded the site of the tomb in the hopes of getting a chance to witness the treasure which previous to this had laid untouched for over 3,000 years. Soon after a reincarnated love and fascination for Ancient Egypt was being expressed through clothing jewellery, furniture, graphic design and architecture.
